uniteNow is a broad based group that was formed during the recent UNITE General Secretary election. Despite intimidation and hostility during that election, theuniteNOW campaign refused to be forced into supporting a candidate on a purely tribal basis.

Instead we backed the candidate that we believed was most capable of forging unity and taking our great union forward. Drawing support primarily, but by no means exclusively, from the former Amicus section, we also believe that by helping to bring Amicus Section members behind Len, our campaign played a critical role in getting Len McCluskey elected as UNITE General Secretary.
